Minnesota entrepreneur • Hands-on operator

Looking for one great business to lead.

North Forty is an entrepreneurial search for an established Minnesota business with good people, loyal customers, and an owner who cares what happens next. The goal is simple: step in, stay involved, and build on what already works.

The North Forty Standard

Own it. Work it. Improve it. Pass it on.

Why North Forty

This is a search—not a portfolio.

North Forty does not represent a collection of acquired companies. It represents one Minnesota operator looking for the right business to own and lead for the long haul.

The right opportunity is a healthy, established company where the owner wants more than the highest bidder. It is a business with a reputation worth protecting, a team worth investing in, and room for practical operating leadership to make a difference.

There is no plan to strip it down, flip it, or manage it from a distance. The plan is to learn the business, earn trust, improve it thoughtfully, and carry its legacy forward.

About the operator

A craftsman. A people builder. An operator.

A passionate, people-centered operator who believes strong businesses are built by taking care of people.

With roots in small-town Minnesota, the approach to leadership is grounded in relationships, personal responsibility, strong values, and doing what you say you will do. Over 20 years of leadership in trucking, heavy-duty service, and multi-location operations have been built from the ground up—from working in the shop and understanding the details to leading teams, developing managers, improving performance, and carrying responsibility for the result.

A craftsman by nature and a builder of people by choice, the work has always centered on creating something from nothing, making good operations better, and helping capable people succeed. That same hands-on, people-first mindset is what North Forty will bring to the right Minnesota business.

How the business will be led

Ownership should stay close to the work.

Value is built in the shop, on the road, in the field, and beside the people who know the work best.

Own it.

Take responsibility for the outcome. Protect the people, the reputation, and every promise made.

Work it.

Stay close to the operation. Respect skilled work, understand the details, and lead from where the work happens.

Improve it.

Build better systems, develop capable leaders, measure what matters, and leave no problem hidden.

Pass it on.

Honor the legacy, strengthen the foundation, and leave the business, its people, and its community stronger than you found them.
